In firefox 3.5b99 , update scanner bookmark folder become "(no tile)", but not "Update Scanner". It is weird but functioned..
After change the name manually, but the name will change back to "(no tile) afterward automactically.
I report exactly the same behavior on my system after upgrading to 3.5b99. I'm on an XP machine. I actually thought it was my own sloppiness (accidentally having clicked the bookmark folder title, I presumed), but now I know it happened to others too.
I haven't tried installing Update Scanner on a clean FF profile yet.

This matter continue after I update Firefox3.5rc2.
I tryed to change (no title), but folder name back in (no title) after Firefox restart.
I'm on an WindowsXP.
Thanks for your reports. I've just seen this on firefox 3.5RC2. It doesn't seem to happen on firefox 3.0.x at all.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Close all firefox windows except one
2) Open the bookmarks sidebar (View->Sidebar->Bookmarks)
3) Rename the updatescanner folder to something
4) Restart firefox
The updatescanner folder will be renamed to "(No Title)"
I can confirm that it is Firefox renaming the folder, not UpdateScanner. It seems to be due to an additional annotation on this folder, that is probably not necessary anymore. Hopefully I'll have time to create a beta for testing soon.

Please try with a blank profile (see the "Bugs" link on the left)
Do you see this problem with Firefox 3.5b4? What is your OS?
