Link to Run Update Scan

I want to schedule a batch file to open firefox and press the Scan button. I was thinking this would be a special shortcut to call the scan button or special link, but I don't know if this is possible.

The iMacros addon might let you do this, perhaps?
Otherwise I'm sure there are windows tools that can launch applications and automatically press buttons.
