Do you think you could store this page-
chrome://updatescan/content/diffPage.xul?id=359&title=
in a sync folder like the one www.getdropbox.com offers? This is a local folder/file. dropbox handles the cross computer peer to peer syncing. If you just do your comparison work in this folder it would be awesome.
This way page changes could get propigated across computers.
Now the Update Scanner experience will truly show me only changes to my pages. Right now every time I go to a new computer, home work etc. update scanner shows me changes I've already seen.

You could try doing this with the "updatescanner" folder in your profile - this is where the previous webpage copies are stored.
But I'm not sure if this will work reliably - make sure you take a backup of your bookmarks before trying it!
