Is update scanner good for me?

I'm a part of a company which markets clients' websites.
We want to know when there is even the slightest change to a web page content, meta tags, <title>s and so on.
Will update scanner be good for us?

Updatescanner only detects changes to the website text. HTML tags are ignored.
