Hello.
I found an incompatiblity between Update Scanner v 3.0.5 and "Toolbar Buttons" 0.6.0.5.
Created a new profile, disabled more than 70 extensions and tested only these two, confirming and isolating the problem.
Problem: page does not show (none of the scanned pages - whatever website), nor any links in the upper blue/gray bar. Body of page blank and does not show custom menu.
Disabling Toolbar Buttons restores full functionality immediately.
Screenshot attached.
Thanks for this great extension!
Regards,
Atila

Re: v 3.0.5 incompatible with "Toolbar Buttons" 0.6.0.5
Very strange... I've just installed Toolbar Buttons, and don't see any problem. (WinXP SP3, FF3.0.12, Update Scanner 3.0.5, Toolbar Buttons 0.6.0.5). I added the "page colors" button to my menu bar.
It could be related to one particular button - could you try removing all of your "Toolbar Buttons" buttons and see if that makes a difference?
Or trying a(nother) new profile, and installing UpdateScanner+ToolbarButtons without adding any new buttons or modifying any options?
Re: v 3.0.5 incompatible with "Toolbar Buttons" 0.6.0.5
Yes, I found the problem!
There are some buttons there that block some things (flash, movies etc.), and the "block iFrames" button was on by default for some reason. I just switched it off and all went ok.
Sorry for the false alarm!
Anyway, now you know that this can happen :-)
Again, thanks for this outstanding extension!
